PNCA Faculty Guest Reading: Stephanie Adams Santos, Poupeh Missagh, Scott Nadelson, Daǧ Strom

A Pacific Northwest College of Art Virtual Event: This reading will be hosted by PNCA’s Low-Residency MFA in Creative Writing faculty for the 2020-2021 academic year: Stephanie Adams Santos, Poupeh Missagh, Scott Nadelson, and Dao Strom. These writers will share excerpts from their work and engage in a conversation with each other and with attendees.

Stephanie Adams Santos is a Filipina-American poet and teacher. Her debut poetry collection, Swarm Queen’s Crown, was the winner of the 2018 Swan Scythe Press Poetry Prize. Poupeh Missagh is a Tehran-born fiction writer. Her stories have appeared in journals such as The Rumpus and Juked. Scott Nadelson is the author of seven books of fiction and nonfiction. His most recent book is the memoir, The Next Scott Nadelson: A Life in Progress. Dao Strom is a Portland-based writer, musician, and visual artist. Her books include Grass Roof, Tin Roof and The Gentle Order of Girls and Boys.

The reading is open to the public and will take place virtually on Thursday, January 14, 2021, from 6 to 7:30 pm.
