A man was punched and robbed in the Bronx subway station in New York City. According to police, the incident occurred on Thursday at around 2:30 a.m. on the southbound platform of the 6 train at the Bronx Park East station.
The victim, a 48-year-old man, was approached by two individuals who punched him in the face and forcibly took his cell phone and wallet before fleeing the scene. The man suffered minor injuries but did not require medical attention.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident and searching for the suspects involved in the robbery. The NYPD has released surveillance footage of the two individuals in hopes of identifying them.
